We ran a Furbo 360 for 60 days with a 3-year-old rescue named Doris — high anxiety, working on it with a behaviorist, food-motivated to a degree that approaches obsessive. The Furbo is built for exactly this dog, so this review is the most charitable case the product gets. It still has problems.
The setup took 12 minutes. The hardware felt premium for the price — solid base, smooth rotation, the treat hopper has a satisfying click when it engages. The first surprise was that almost every feature in the marketing copy is paywalled behind the Dog Nanny subscription at $9/month. Bark alerts, dog selfies, the activity tracker, the post-call summary — all of it. The base unit without the subscription is a tossable-treat camera with manual rotation, full stop.

Should you buy it
The answer is in the verdict block. Most households don’t need this; some specifically do.
Furbo 360 Dog Camera
Best for: Households with food-motivated dogs and a real separation-anxiety problem
Buy this only if your dog has actual separation anxiety AND is food-motivated AND you're committing to the $9/mo subscription. Otherwise a Wyze Cam at $36 does 80% of what you actually use, and a regular treat dispenser handles the food part.
Pros
- Treat toss is accurate — 38 of 40 attempts landed within 4 ft of the dog over 60 days
- Bark detection differentiates types — alert bark vs distress bark, useful for diagnosing anxiety triggers
- 360-degree rotation actually tracks the dog through the room, not just panning aimlessly
Cons
- Dog Nanny subscription ($9/mo) is required for almost every useful AI feature — base unit is hardware-only otherwise
- Treat compartment holds 100 small treats; with a Lab, that's gone in an afternoon if you're tossing on every check-in
- Mounting requires a flat surface 4 ft+ off the ground; renters with no shelving need to buy the wall mount separately
